Community Tasting Notes 1

May 3, 2014 - Passed it's prime but still drinkable. No signs of defect. Just a bit tired. Still dark cherry red in color with slight bricking around the half inch rim. Tertiary notes on the nose. Leather, wet ash, cedar. On the palate there's still some sweetness which is quite enjoyable. For a 37 year old wine, this is performing well. Finish is brief but enjoyable.
