December 21, 2019 - Good nose. Initial taste was good. Cork broke apart in process of opening.

June 8, 2016 - The rare disappointment from Ridge. Sweet, woody, with some graphite, but very little fruit; drying tannin, loads of vanilla, some blackberry jam. Overly big with little joy and certainly past whatever prime it had.

February 3, 2016 - Very big wine, huge fruit, a little hot. After 2 hours or so in the decanter it became better integrated, secondary flavors of earth and dried orange peel came out. Great wine, but big.
