April 23, 2021 - Aromas of cherry, asphalt sulpher, and some tobacco leaf. In mouth the wine is rich and viscous with rusted iron, tobacco,and black currants set in a drying mouthfeel. Pretty good balance and a wine worth finding as it drinks and punches above its weight. I think I paid $30.

October 2, 2017 - This is 100% Cabernet and a really good super Tuscan. The nose offers cigar box, chocolate, leather, tar and sweet cassis. It is deep and richly fruited with ample underlying structure. There’s enough development to enjoy now but it is stacked for further improvement.
