February 2, 2018 - Festa dal Barolo gala dinner
Dried rose hips and cherry fruit not he nose. Still fresh and with fruit. Fully mature but not fading yet, with lovely balance. Fresher on the palate than the nose. Beautiful wine and a pleasant surprise. 93 -

April 30, 2014 - The surprise of the night. We had wrote it off earlier in the day and replaced it with some backup bottles, but decided to bring it along just in case. After ten hours it miraculously opened up, but some still found a slight oxidative flaw. Too bad because this had so much fruit and may have even matched the Borgogno had it been showing well.
