  September 17, 2011 - really surprising! tattered label, and picked up for 25 at auction, so was a little worried. nutty, orange blossom, flowers, and a touch of oxidation on the nose. balanced on the palate with nice acidity. dark orange color was a little scary, but after tasting, clearly this is normal. still drinking well out of the fridge 4 days later.

  August 8, 2011 - Amber in color, darker than I could have imagined. Nose and palate were in sync, with honey notes followed by some perfume and white flower. Excellent condition and many years left.

  April 5, 2005 - 87 Guigal La La's, 90 la Chapelle, 90 Montrose, 89 Palmer, 90 Tertre Rôteboeuf (Montrachet): This was the froups wine of the flight. I found it to be simple yet balanced.
