Community Tasting Notes 5

March 23, 2024 - I was slightly worried about this at first as I thought it showed a hint of a somewhat oxidized or tired note, but it was late and I wasn't certain. On day two it was fresh and bright, fruitier and simpler than the really excellent '16, but great stuff. Absurd that I paid less than $13 for this a week ago.

December 28, 2019 - I still think that this is one of the best values out there

December 13, 2019 - Woohoo in stride. Day one still had that fizz but day two was rocking.

June 9, 2019 - Medium ruby color. Lots of Bretty barnyard on the nose, along with some tart red fruits and herb. Medium bodied on the palate with juicy acidity and more wild fruit character. This is hard to give a general rating to. I actually don’t mind some Brett every once in awhile in my wines, so I like it. But if Brett isn’t for you then maybe think twice or wait to see if it blows off.

May 3, 2019 - Spritz. Even on day two. Darker and heavier than past vintages. Hoping this was an off bottle. Diam cork.
