Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Tim Heaton Likes this wine:

July 15, 2020 - This is not a 'Parker wine' to my palate, never has been in the 20 years I've been drinking it; obviously including the time of the previous owners. Medium body, dark fruited, very firm, fine tannins that very well may outlive the fruit. Loads of soil put this firmly in the AFWE camp. I'm guessing it was much better on day 2, but that's just a guess. Good partner to food, too stern on its own. Drink after LONG decant, or after 2025. recommended

  • Kellerkind Does not like this wine:

February 11, 2019 - Powerful wine, lots of tannin, strong acidity, more balance after a day in the fridge (in the decanter). A typical Parker wine - not mine.
