March 30, 2018 - Pretty dark purple color. Sweet notes of ripe plum, sweet dark and red cherries, spices, some graphite and tar. Medium-full bodied, dense, but with nice freshness of medium-high acidity and medium- tannin. Good length. A very good, slightly opulent, crowd-pleasing style.

March 30, 2018 - Piemont Trip; 3/28/2018-4/1/2018 (Barbaresco, Barolo): Sehr dichte Farbe, bombige Nase. Wirkt wie ein perfekter Blend zwischen dem tollen, bombigen Barbera und dem wunderbar balancierter Nebbiolo. Trifft sicher den Allgemeingeschnack sehr gut und ist etwas für viele Gäste. Schöne Balance, alles in guter Form.
