July 29, 2023 - This was a very fine bottle of villages Marsannay, well-balanced, mouth-filling, medium-bodied, with slightly rustic, furry tannins and cherry-plum fruit notes. A joy to drink and at the top of the villages quality range/bottom of the 1er quality range. Chalk one up for Peter Weygandt. I opened a bottle of this wine two or three years ago and wasn't impressed, but it has developed beautifully since then.

May 7, 2023 - Drank over 2 days, 1st day without decant very fruity with sour cherry note. 2nd day it opened more and have bing cherry full flavor, very nice for the price

December 20, 2021 - PnP, aired in the glass for an hour.
Fairly simple Burgundy. Bright acid, lots of amount of red and dark red fruit, little bit of rocky earth. Pretty simple but a nice Burgundy.
Drink now, no need to wait. -

April 30, 2018 - Beautiful rich purple color upon decanting. Nice expressive nose w/good legs. Very nice round flavor of blueberries w/soft finish. Opens to fresh cherries. Very nice w/Brie & fruit appetizer. Nice soft round finish. This is a bargain if you find it!
