July 1, 2021 - Clean, ripe and downright delicious, with bright red berries and nice lift. A fine showing at nearly two decades of age.

May 20, 2015 - identical to the last bottle very consistent

January 18, 2015 - PnP'd, very soft nose and the palate was largely closed and had me concerned that this was indicative of the vintage. I decanted it for roughly 2 hours and it really opened up, open nose, red cherry, cranberry and a chalky minerality on the nose. Classic palate, high-toned red fruit, good red cherry core, earthy mushroom and loam with a subtle mineral finish. I would definitely drink up

November 15, 2014 - Over the hill. Faint nose of barnyard and leather. Light, Faded sour fruit with a gritty mouthfeel. Acid is about the only thing left. disappointing purchase from Kermit Lynch, who touted this as something special.

February 10, 2011 - Great nose upon P&P, even better after 30-60 minutes, combination of fruit and barnyard w/leather and tobacco. Nice mouth feel with medium length finish. Very popular with all who tasted it at a 8 person tasting. I wish that I had LOTS more of this, but this was the last bottle. What a steal at $11-$12 some six years ago.
