Community Tasting Notes 1

January 20, 2021 - Rather deep golden yellow color for a SB. On the nose mainly ripe tropical fruit in a balanced way, a bit of some waxy notes as well. Medium bodied, dry, very smooth with refined ripe tropical fruit carried by decent firm (not bracing) acidity. Not your typical Sauvignon Blanc. All in all very elegant and poised. I wonder if the aging has changed the wine since I don't recall having tasted this old SB before.
