Community Tasting Notes 3

June 18, 2009 - Lots of cherry with some vegetal & cedar notes on the nose. Somewhat light & dry, with tons of sour cherries and a bit of oak/vanilla on the palate, and a somewhat lengthy finish.

December 2, 2008 - Nice aroma, if maybe a little thin. Nice clear, dark ruby color. Went nicely with the Scallopini in red sauce. Smoother than a Chianti might, but A thought there was a little aftertaste that couldn't be called "finish". I liked a little more, and would have it again with similiar foods.

October 25, 2006 - This is a single vineyard Volpolicella. The cepage is 50% Corvina, 40% Rondinella and 10% Molinara. A fruity wine with currant and crushed grape skin notes. Simple finish. 85 points.
