December 27, 2019 - Not incredibly complex but a nice sparkling riesling with enough residual sugar to stand up to a variety of spicy Chinese dishes. A good value.

July 29, 2019 - I'm a fan of bubbly riesling and this is quite a good one. Has just enough sweetness to stand up to spicy food and plenty of citrusy acidity. Delicious.

January 26, 2018 - Pale yellow color with moderate effervescence. Bouquet and flavor of dry apples with some mineral notes. Nice acidity with good balance, but lacking nuance. Easy to drink and pleasant. Drunk with our very tired meal at the Slanted Door in San Francisco, which may be the busiest restaurant in the world. Unfortunately, over the years, it has lost its innovative and exciting take on Asian food, and has adjusted to its popularity by dumbing down on flavor and alluring taste combinations. Too bad.
