  December 9, 2018 - This is my favorite Medlock Ames Cabernet. To me, just a bit bigger and deeper than the “Kate’s & B’s” Cabernet. A bit darker and blacker than K&B. Aroma is a bit smoother to me. Compared to K&B’s, I believe the taste is bigger, but not as balanced... richer with more texture and darker black fruits and oak. Nicely balanced, but like the K&B, this will definitely get better laying down.

  December 10, 2017 - Decided to try this very young wine from Medlock Ames. No surprise very fruit forward, big red fruit, tannins are quite prominent. However our assessment is this is going to be a nice wine, be patient it is too early to drink. Will crack another bottle open in about 12 months to see how it has progressed. Big Cabernet, will get even better.
