March 26, 2023 - Tight upon opening, this improved with air. Nose showed notes of alcohol with some red berries and raspberry paste. Medium acidity, a touch hot on the alcohol, but pretty red berries and sweet tobacco notes make this straightforward and enjoyable. Medium length with some oak. Nothing too exciting but good everyday wine.

July 16, 2020 - figured we give it a go @ $26, pretty solid right off the pull good weight, just opened...that's good stuff starchy yet acid, perhaps more earth would be nice, dialed in,softer, linear, changing, 6hrs later black cherry, pound cake great nose...

few days later 7/19, very straightforward, lacking the earth, some complexity, but this does have savoriness and it is lightweight, clean, ok has the brown spice, I just want my orgeon pinot a little dirty, funkier, but I do like how clean, and tight it is,growing on me....

April 13, 2020 - Tasted after a hour of air. Bright cherry fruits. High toned herbal notes that provide lift. Nicely balanced. Interesting finish that shifts between the herbal notes, spicy notes, and crispy fruit. A good wine but Willakenzie is really jacking up the prices since Jackson Family took over and these are not good values.

March 7, 2020 - Solid and nuanced WV PN. Elegant and lithe with energy. Good QPR @ $25, but wouldn't pay $40.

November 8, 2019 - Respectable wine which is light on its feet and deep in its flavor. Flavors of bright cherry, nutmeg, and quite acidic. A little unbalanced and I believe it will not improve much. Just ok
