November 9, 2023 - Sehr typisch deutscher Pinot: Rote Frucht, Blut, etwas Speck und Leder. Nicht zu schwer, dabei aber sehr komplex und mit guter Länge. Sehr schön!

    February 12, 2023 - 1/6, vg cork.
Pale/medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Quite aromatic, red and black cherry, spice, herbal notes. Medium bodied, has some weight, very fine tannins, red cherry, some darker fruit, slight creamy edge vibrant acdiity, good length harmonious finish with a touch of white pepper. Very good indeed, drinking well but no hurry here.

January 6, 2022 - Lovely Spatburgunder - savoury, subtly spicy, moorish - really quite distinct from any Burgundy or other Pinot I can think of with a soil inflection I'm unfamiliar with, and don't quite know how to describe, but really like! (looking at the notes below a 'black tea' note - Darjeeling ? is definitely part of what I'm picking up, but something else too). Medium bodied, good balance, very enjoyable from the PnP but I'd wager this is just entering it's drinking window and will improve. Great value for £25 !

October 18, 2021 - Deep red fruit, strawberry even. All still primary with lots of polish.

September 11, 2020 - Nose is a 93-94, palate is a 90-91. Soft ripe strawberries with a dollop of green alpine strawberry, earth. Palate profile reminds me of the 2011 Faiveley Latriciers I had a few weeks ago, although less glossy and less complex village level version.
