October 19, 2018 - Wow, this bottle has moved into a spectacular space. Limited decant and this was opulent. Big rich cab nose and a palate to match. Spectacular fruit and silky smooth mouthfeel. Drink now for sure!

February 19, 2017 - Wow. Very deep, intense and interesting wine. Pure and ripe with loads of currant and dark plum fruit. Really nicely balanced, great fresh acidity but also a really nice depth of flavor. Excellent wine. Thanks Keith!

April 10, 2016 - Classic extracted nose of black big fruit. Really came out of the glass like most of the Barons cabs. Palate was rich and big. Fruit forward with lots of earthy, tobacco and tar. Still a bit of tannin on the end with a medium finish.

February 7, 2016 - P&P. Started out slightly green but with air evolved into a really nice wine! Cassis, tobacco, barrel notes and cherry pie flavors. Tannins started sneaking in about the 2 hour mark, but that's also when the flavors were at their most interesting. Drink now - 2020.

December 20, 2015 - Great bottle, nice firm tannins, dark fruit, oak, long finish. Love the Barons, never disappoints.
