Keeping It Real Likes this wine: 92 points
December 3, 2015 - This wine kicked butt.
Right upon Pnp, it was just magnificent. The nose is what really surprised me. Very strong licorice, some oak, black black berries, and more. Very bold wine. Aerated it for about 30-45 mins and it drank very well. Tannins were very soft at this point but the wine was nothing soft, straight slamming.
The reason why I cannot give it more than 92 points is because personally I was not too amazed by the fruit component of this wine. It does not have much of the flavorful fruits that amaze me. The finish was good and full. Overall a very good wine and a crowd pleaser.
One more thing, the wine is very bold and sometimes overwhelming, which might not do so well with complimenting food but that does not bother me since I tend to drink wines by itself.
