October 28, 2023 - Very fragrant rose and floral notes on the nose. Sweet cherries and spices balanced nicely with good acidity and long finish. It’s fully matured and won’t get any better IMO.

November 26, 2021 - Great Thanksgiving wine... Opened about 2 hours before serving, followed by 10 minutes in the fridge before pouring. Light ruby color with medium legs. Red and blue fruits with some hints of leather and baking spice. Soft, integrated tannins with a long finish. A guest brought a Beaujolais Villages - was darker and more one dimensional...

July 27, 2018 - IPNC Weekend 2018; 7/26/2018-8/2/2018 (Linfield College, McMinnville, OR): Part of a trio of THV's from 2016 with Lumos, Walter Scott, and Bergstrom. This has even more fruit than the Walter Scott. Red berries, great purity and focus, slightly dusty and rather floral, hints of blood orange. The palate has dried earth, saline, cedarbox, great purity, herbs, medium body and harmonious. This may be the ultimate winner with some age. 92+pts.
