June 13, 2020 - Sat, 06/13/20, $2 Tasting (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Slightly closed; Creamy, TOASTY oak atop ripe berries with notable pyrazines
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with nice, ALMOST swtish frt (threshold R.S.?) met by a SLIGHT amount of astringent pucker which QUITE resolves by the LONG, very, VERY slightly bitterish finish with a tangy/swtness to the few, unoffensively firming, dusty tannins. Finishes drier than the mid-P implies. Drink now & into (probably through) '22. My VG+/EXC-, the higher arguably for the QPR of this vendor's (closeout) $7.95.
