  February 4, 2019 - Quite pleasant fruit bomb from Argentina. Intense nose featuring multiple notes; of cherry cranberry blackberry and some dry secondary notes balancing between tobacco and a more pepper like aspect. Body not very full but definitely not light, with moderated acidity and some light but noticeable tannins. Not particularly sweet gave additional dimensions of earth and strawberry (?) as time passed by. I appreciated the slight bitterness. Finish medium. Easy going wine with good vfm.

  December 27, 2018 - 12 Days of Christmas - 2018; 12/21/2018-1/1/2019 (NYC, Vermont, Lake Placid): Tasted Blind - Flight #2 - Wine #1. Not very expressive on the nose. On the palate this is really tightly spooled with lots of acid, not giving much pleasure at the moment. Really needs food, or a long decant to open up a bit. 2nd place for the flight with 25 pennies voted.
