Community Tasting Notes 11

June 21, 2013 - This was not terribly complex but in early maturity and could actually go even longer. For its level and what I paid at auction (<$15) as part of a mixed lot, I award myself 100 points. If you cellared this, 200 points to you.

January 12, 2007 - This remains a very satisfying Bourgogne. After a year since my last tasting, this shows a bit of development and a slight forest/mushroom aroma has since emerged. Still, from my perspective this has not reached full maturity yet and should easily last for 3-5 more years.

December 29, 2006 - Great stuff. Pinot, sour cherry, well balanced, versatile.

July 22, 2006 - Not overly deep; starts meaty , then pinot uplift, feral 7 fragrant!Õ some initial tannin, soft summer fruit; silky finish. Drink 2-4 years. 14Drinking wellDitto

December 25, 2005 - Dark ruby-red; dark fruits and a hint of spice on the nose, med-bodied with cherry and red fruit on the palate, pretty firm tannic/acid backbone, nice finish with earth and iron notes. Showing a lot of body and texture for a bourgogne, this'll age for a bit. Went really well with roast pork stuffed with dried fruits and nuts, braised lentil salad.
