  January 13, 2024 - 96-97 tonight.
  Two hours in the decanter before decanting it again at the restaurant.
  
  Beautiful red colour.
  Huge, very attractive nose of distinction and then some. A pure, red-berried Syrah with omph and a touch of cola, chocolate and sensitive herbs.
  In the mouth it sings! Intense, laser sharp and delicious. Acidity perfect for a multi-course dinner. Long, purity in a bottle, complex and utterly delicious.
  
  Still young, inching its way to the plateau.
  We have one bottle to go, and will keep it for another 5-7 years. Expecting it to have moved on a little bit towards its plateau. (Don't trust the guys hooked on juice and jam!!!)

  November 22, 2018 - One would think...toast, over the hill, what are you thinking for a 16 yr old Syrah...
  
  Well, you are wrong. Big (still), plush wine.dark Choc, sage, blackberries, boysenberry, blueberry... full body wine.
  Past its absolute prime, perhaps...dead, toast, over the hill...no effin way....

  April 25, 2013 - A fairly large wine. Still looks pretty young. My only complaint is that the alcohol was fairly high and a bit to hot on the finish.
