December 14, 2022 - What a difference 2 years makes. No longer a big, bad-ass assault; still big, but classy, harmonious and brighter than previously. Nice, long finish.
9/18/2020 note: Monster wine!! Dark fruit and tar dominate. After 5 hours of air, it lost some of its attack, but still big and brassy. Too intense for my taste. And quite unlike previous vintages. 88pts. -

May 4, 2018 - Hommage a DryCab - Washington Wines release; 5/3/2018-5/5/2018 (Various spots in Walla Walla): Funny wine. Definite blend of sweet and smokey. Get the fruity nature from the Phinney vineyard Syrah and the Mouvedre. Felt like a wine that was made to go with BBQ. Some black pepper. A touch more intense than what I was looking for at the moment.
