December 29, 2023 - I’m really liking some of the recent Rhône Blancs enjoyed over the last two years. Poured into a chilling decanter and paired with lemon garlic prawns and cheesy penne. Seems to be in a really good place and drinking impressively tonight. Medium gold color indicates the use of oak in the fermentation and / or aging process and / or aging on its lees. Intense and complex layers of camelized and honeyed stone and tropical fruits. Very fresh mouthfeel but rounded with enough medium acidity to support a very long finish. Perfect with the food. Drink through 2026.

July 14, 2023 - Slow ox 30 minutes in glass. Deep gold. Initial aromas of oxidation and slight burnt orange. This mostly blew off after one hour to reveal a fairly dense set of aromas of stone fruit and citrus. Rich in body with flavors of ripe golden delicious apples, honey and melon. Long, interesting finish featuring minerals, ripe pears and flowers. Unsure of how well this will age as the oxidation notes are of concern and distracting, so drink sooner than later. 90-91

May 26, 2023 - Lovely. Depth of flavor that reminded me of an aged dry Riesling with a bit of that petrol flavor. Liked it.

April 2, 2023 - Not sure if this was flawed or not. It seems to be rather oxidized, but this might be a feature, and it might be a flaw. Curious if others noted a sherry-like aspect to it. It still was drinkable, but it was confusing. Cheers!

June 15, 2022 - Kosmik’s note is spot on, including his/her advice on improvement with extra time.

Distinctly golden in colour, light viscosity, shells and apricot. Lingering acidity holds this all together

Grenache blanc plus Roussanne, clairette, bourboulenc and picpoul. A good example of why I would love our local winemakers to get some clairette and bouboulenc to raise the Rhone whites a levelor two
