April 19, 2020 - We're on a bit of a Grenache "kick" at the moment, likely because so much of it is grown up the coast, and it has a wide variety of expressions. This one is definitely on the cherry side, with some wonderful spice on the finish.

December 27, 2019 - I gave in and opened our last bottle of this a bit too early, as it remains very plump and primary. For whatever reason, the small percentage of Syrah in the blend was really making its presence known in this bottle, in the nose and on the palate. The strawberry and pomegranate fruit takes a back seat to dark cherries, cinnamon, clove, molasses and coffee. Leaning more toward a more hedonistic style, this is a very satisfying Grenache. I have changed my own drinkability window as I think this will go longer than I had originally thought.

June 27, 2018 - Wonderful expression of Central Coast Grenache, with tart cherry, raspberry, and earthy notes around the core. Give it a few hours, it only gets better
