February 25, 2021 - Dark tawny with a nose of coffee, hazelnut, molasses and dates. The palate is sweet with sticky dates, sweet black coffee, nuts, spices and quite a bit of heat. Tons of flavour and complexity for the money but it’s not too subtle and lacks the brisk acidity one expects from Madeiran wines. Enjoyed it, great value for money.
