  September 9, 2022 - 200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Beautiful and sexy nose with earhty and floral elements, toasty oak. The Pirate and best wine by far in this Mazoyeres flight.

  February 27, 2021 - Popped and poured. Aromas/flavors of dark fruit, earth, and smoke. Moderate complexity/finish. Drinking well now. No obvious reason to wait, but seems like it should hold over the mid term. This was consumed late in the evening after an impressive lineup and a 92 may be low. 92-93+.

  January 14, 2020 - Ficofi Paulee- Bachelet’s style suits a leaner year very much. Beautiful aromatics dark fruit, smoke, meat and herbs. It was transparent and pure on the palate with very good complexity. My top 3 wine tonight.

  February 19, 2018 - Dark purple - almost brooding in character. Sappy red fruit, dark fruit, black cherry, raspberries and hints of smoke. Incredibly young still. Plenty of upside here as this is still fairly primary. Fun to drink today but will get better. Give it 10 years.
