October 29, 2023 - Incredible experience with something so aged, yet hitting on all cylinders. Nose was Lafite perfection and palate was lively through the finish. What a treat

July 13, 2019 - Second tasting of this wine after a disappointing encounter four years ago. This one was far better. Even some black fruit left, though short lived. Strong secondary and tertiary notes with cedar, ash, mushrooms, leather and underwood. Peppery, almost shiraz like spicy ness. Surprisingly alive, good balance and pleasant lengthy finish.

Past its prime. Slight cloudiness in the glass. A burgundian nose with hints of saddle, graphite, mint and earth. Sweet finish on the palate. -
