Community Tasting Notes 7

June 8, 2021 - - Garnet color with fast forming legs and aromas of dusty, cherry, tea and licorice anise. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of cherry with a medium body. Linear texture with a short finish - Pop and poured, i think it needs a lot of time to open up. Very tight. Very tart cherry and as abrupt finish. Really short and lacking.

November 13, 2020 - This is a bit on the sweet side and one dimensional, plenty concentrated sweet dark fruit but lacks structure, however a good crowd pleasing red.

May 23, 2020 - I found this to be rather too dense and heavy, with a lot of sweet dark berry fruit, tarry notes, liquorice and evident tannins. It was a bit like drinking large glasses of port. Nothing wrong with it at all, just not to my taste.

April 18, 2020 - Helping Buying Decisions (Wine Wizards Stockton): Nice full dark color, vines, brambly. Full and lush in the mouth, fruit and acidity that echoes the nose. Really, really drinkable.

March 21, 2020 - Concentrated ripe fruit, truckloads of it. Smooth, excessively polished, and a likely crowd pleaser.
