  September 4, 2022 - A bit tired and lacks fruit. Some secondary flavors and some interesting tertiary flavors but this is probably past its peak. Cork came out really easily and felt soft, so may have been a storage problem as I bought this on the secondary market. YMMV.

  February 17, 2013 - Cork was flawless. Storage condition was an 8 out of 10. Considering age, color and aromas were outstanding. Wonderful balance. Everything I could want in a 16 year old Napa Cab. Very satisfied to have more of this gem.

  May 11, 2011 - nose: nice dark and balanced nose filled with tones of cassis, dark red cherries, cedary oak tones, raspberries, and some tones of licorice as well
  
  taste: full bodied with silky tannins and medium acidity along with well balanced tones of dark red cherries, licorice, cassis and bits of herbs
  
  overall: this was a straight pop n pour. It took about 10 minutes to get going, but is in full flight and a real lovely cab. Dark ruby color with a bit of bricking. This does seem to be in it's pomp right now as the tones on the palate are right in that mature phase
