June 30, 2009 - pop and pour - a restrained new world delight - lovely round fruit with medium integrate tannins..... great with food and really swell on it's own... could and would have consumed it all night to see how and how long it progressed but sadly was just. too. tired

June 3, 2007 - nice fruit - very much tasted like a Pinot. would drink it now - don't see a huge upside in aging this.

    May 14, 2007 - WIML90,PURPLE91,NOWA,WS91

Tasted May 14, 2007 at home. Opened and splash decanted about 30 minutes before serving in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Garnet, slightly dusty. Nose of Kirsch, red currants, mixed berries and white pepper. Seemed a little hot on the nose as well. Later some maple or brown sugar aromas. Flavors of red berries, red cherries, red currants and just a little licorice. Light to medium acidity, medium tannins, light to medium body. Drink over the short to medium term. Revising my previous score of WIML90-92 to WIML90.

January 19, 2007 - Very fruit forward aromas, that immediately let you know that this wine was made in a very modern style, with its fruit forwardness and alcohol. But, it had a light texture, which was surprising, and a bit of acidity.

January 6, 2007 - Intense, juicy, but well-balanced raspberry and cherry, with some earthy notes and a vibrant and refreshing finish.
