April 10, 2020 - Cherry, juicy strawberry, touch of cedar. Approachable bright Barbara and a fine product through and through. Medium body and medium plus acidity, bright finish.

April 13, 2019 - V enjoyable. Not a jam pot of a barbera. Quite easy drinking and v Italian. Didn’t need more than about 20 mins of a little air before it was ready to go. No rush but no need to wait either.

August 17, 2018 - Color is dark ruby turning to purple. After 3 hours with an open bottle the nose is quite open with smells of roses, spices, cherries. In the mouth the wine is quite rustic has high acidity, medium high tannins and medium high alcohol. The wine medium to full body. The taste is tart cherries, licorice spices. While the wine does not have many dimensions it does carry long in the mouth. I hate to say it but it has very similar taste to chianti. If given blind to someone it would surely be identified as chianti. Not getting lavender violet or plum and found the tannins a bit too much maybe over extracted.

August 9, 2018 - Has a lot of the complex flavors of a Brunello but smooth.

Merci!

NEZ: Prunes - Cerises - Réglisse - Cuir - Rose
    BOUCHE: Framboises - Cerises - Prunes - Épices - Bois - Fleurs
