February 19, 2018 - Surprisingly bland for such a high alcohol CdR. Very unimpressive. We expected a big blockbuster and found a meek mild quaffer type Rhône. Costco’s less expensive Rasteau CdR is much more structured.

December 27, 2017 - Strawberry, charcoal, lemon thyme, dried earth and gravel. Wonderful entry that is of tensile, and eventhough the finish is a little short, the front and middle make up for it. Nice acidity and tannins that are somewhat present and lithe. Drink now - 2023.
