March 18, 2022 - Strawberry and camphor on the nose. On the palate, classic Sangiovese cherry with notes of lemon citrus, earthy spices, and tobacco, with light to moderate tannins and moderate acidity on the medium finish. This is noticeably lighter than most Brunello, and it probably won't improve much from this point; although this is well made the weakness of the vintage does show through. It was an average to good value at about $40.

August 27, 2021 - Last of these. Ready to go. Took to a BYOB, so did not decant. Very nice out of the gate. Light aromas of strawberry and cherry. Mushroom notes too. This is ready to go at this point and I don’t see any improvement from here. Drink now.

May 10, 2021 - Didn't take nots - showed more age than last bottle of this I tasted in 1/2021. Still very good. Drank next to an '11 Musar which I preferred. 92-93 range this go around. I'd argue this is at peak (maybe for my palate).

January 25, 2021 - PNP and paired with grilled lamb chops. Didn't note color. On nose, red licorice, sweet/sour cherry, orange peel, lemon and leather/savory notes. Medium body, medium+ acidity, medium tannins and very long finish. Loved this. 93-94 range.
