March 21, 2023 - Am not really a Pinot person and this is not really my thing - felt too acidic, the fruit was too restrained and the structure a bit thin for my taste.

June 28, 2021 - Penultimate bottle of this Central Otago Pinot Noir. Retains earthy qualities, with hints of truffle, gun smoke and clove joining forest floor mingling with cranberry and dried raspberries. Silky texture and tannins, red fruit on the palate with earthy edges. This has held up really well for another year, showing a delicate elegance at this stage, but retaining a certain zestiness. One more bottle left for next year, which seems about the right time frame in which to bid it farewell before it starts to fade.

May 5, 2021 - Similar to TN of 6/25/20. Only difference is that this seemed more smoothed out. Recommend drink in the next 1-2 years. The other tasters loved it, so I'll up my 90 to a 91.

September 30, 2020 - Pulled this Central Otago Pinot Noir from the cellar after a bit more than a year since I last tried it. Offers loads of earthy notes (mushroom, forest floor), bright raspberry, clove and dark chocolate. Creamy texture, silky tannins, with zesty raspberry and forest floor on the palate and clove in the lingering finish. This is graceful and elegant, elevated by its earthiness, and has remained so since first trying it in 2018.

Paired with a grilled pork loin with a ginger mango sauce. Perfect.

June 25, 2020 - PnP. Pretty color - a shade darker than other Pinots. Aromas of black cherries, herbs and spice with a hint of oak. Medium-bodied savory black cherry fruit with some forest floor notes and nice acid backbone with a spicy, dry finish. Tannins seem mostly integrated, but this has a bright future for 3-5 years. 90+
