September 22, 2018 - Open last night. Another great bottle from Brett. Light-medium yellow with good legs. Brilliant. Nose shows wonderful fruit, tropical mangoes and bananas with a hint of honey, full and rich but as with all Brett’s wines, nicely restrained by a fine vein of acid. This would give the big boys a good run for their money in a blind tasting. It all follows through nicely onto the palate, where the wine is very well-balanced and rich. Drinking beautifully at the moment. This wine is not cheap, but quite a value considering the quality in the bottle. 5-13-16-9: 93/100.

April 10, 2018 - Opened tonight. Excellent appearance. Very vibrant deep golden yellow with great legs. This is an excellent chardonnay. Excellent expressive aromas of pear and creamy vanillin oak; wow! Very fine flavor profile, exquisitely balanced. Showy but not overdone. This could outshine many a bottle three times its price. Bravo for a chardonnay that keeps me coming back for another glass as it grows and grows in the glass! 5-13-18-9: 95/100.
