June 17, 2020 - Just too old. Cork fell apart on opening. Wet cardboard on the nose - not earthy - oxidized. One sip confirmed it is way past time. Now draining out to the Los Angeles River.

November 24, 2017 - Just love the sophisticated berries on a backdrop debonair espresso and tar. Last bottle and this is drinking great. Enjoy it now at beautiful peak though it's probably got a few more great years ahead. -2020

February 20, 2017 - Pnp, nice right out of bottle. smooth oak, long finish. Has a little more time

July 3, 2016 - Mature, ripe and a little heavy for my palate. Leafy, syrupy notes. Tannin all but resolved, acid was lacking which effected the balance and enjoyment of the wine. Nice wine, just a little heavy and flat. Looking at others notes I'm not sure this is a reflective bottle. From this experience, drink now.

April 21, 2016 - A wine that, for me, did not reveal in its youth how special it was to become. Still smells surprisingly effusive with minerals, iodine, autumn branches, and cherry syrup. And the juicy palate, while less intellectual than the bouquet, unfurls like a mushroom cloud and offers an unwavering sweet length. Delicious and wotn among eight international cabs, one from each vintage '01-'08. Best -2020
