February 22, 2018 - 70% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino,15% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot aged 12 months in Slavonian barrels and French oak barriques and 4 months in bottle.
Aromas show a mix of dark cherry, plum, goji and hints of fig before showing notes of earth, sweet spice, flowers, tea, leather, smoke and graphite.
The palate is medium-plus, with medium-plus density, tannins, acidity and moderate alcohol. Flavors show a mix of earth and fruit with dark cherry, plum. deep pomegranate, earth and graphite, bramble, dried florals, tea, leather and spice. The finish lingers pleasantly.
