August 4, 2023 - Method: opened 1.5 hours in advance; about 60 degrees; Cab glass

Look: deep purple with slight magenta rim

Nose: lavender, light mint, ripe raspberry, blackberry, blackberry pie; expressive

Palate: raspberry, faint beef jerky / lightly smoked beef; long- finish of lavender pepper, dried herbs; dry; medium+ body; medium+ round and slightly drying tannins; medium+ acidity

Overall thoughts: Really nice mouthfeel and very good structure. Expressive on the nose and palate, with good fruit but sufficient complexity. 90 to 91 points. Great wine.

August 4, 2023 - Nose: beautiful nose; dark cherry, menthol, wet forest floor, blackberry, raspberry; really expressive

Palate: raspberry, blackberry, wood smoke, white pepper, cedar; med+ acid, a bit tart; full - body, smooth; dry and round tanins

Overall: Great structure and flavors but it is a tad tart for me

April 10, 2023 - Pop n pour. Good Syrah. Some N Rhone notes. Paired well with NY Strips. Thinking it is in the zone now, no big hurry but don't think I would want to double the age from here.

July 26, 2022 - Pop and pour. Saved 1/2 in a 375ml bottle that I tasted two days later.
    Dark purple color.
Nose of dark fruit, and an herbal note. Slight hint of eucalyptus.
Good dark fruit on the intro, with a mouthwatering acidity that follows on the mid-palate.
Hint of citrus - like lemon juice drizzled on black cherries. Slight hint of oak in there was well.
    Very good wine.
