Community Tasting Notes 1

  • pkbowen Does not like this wine: 80 points

February 24, 2022 - PnP. Red purple core, clear rim, and some sediment in the cork and neck. Cherry Robitussin and a little balsamic on the nose. The entry is tannins. Tannins everywhere. More cherry and metallic notes on the mid with continued soul-shredding tannins. Finishes med with cherry and black walnut flavors. And tannins. The structure suggests this needs bottle time, but the lackluster flavor profile indicates otherwise. Not worth the $15. Average to good, 80.
