January 23, 2022 - Melon, green apple, chalk on the nose. On the palate, was very fruit driven straight after opening with juicy stone fruit and chalky minerality. After 30 mins, became much more savory and mineral with a bone dry limestone finish and medium+ acidity. This was even more pronounced on the 2nd day. This feels like it’s moved on a lot in the past year or perhaps bottle variation but that awkwardness is still there. There’s a lot of character in this wine and I can see people loving or hating it.

April 12, 2021 - Lemon peel, passion fruit, toast, dandelion, pie crust. More delicate on the palate than the nose. Good acid, some delicious flavors, but feels a little thin and disjointed. Overall flavor profile is similar to the 17 as it should be but the way it’s put together is behind that wine. More precise but far less generous than the 17 and I don’t think that’s a positive. It’s still very good though just suffers a little through the direct comparison.

August 31, 2019 - Full, rich take on a Meursault. Floral and spice nose. Citrus (hint of grapefruit rind) and mineral in the mouth and on the long finish, excellent acidity as well. Paired with crab, and goat cheese and crackers. Enjoyed now, but early in its life.
