February 7, 2022 - Very nice Saint-Aubin with quite some structure. Initially very reductive with lots of smoke and gun powder and little fruit. After a while it opened up nicely. Given the level of reduction and ample acidity, I reckon this will take some time to reach its climax (similar to many 2016 white Burgundies).
February 5, 2022 - Very good once the sulphur had blown off.
September 13, 2020 - I'd say this was the dog's bollocks rather than its teeth. Peach and lemon, wonderfully clean, with a discreet mineral core. Just delightful.
June 30, 2020 - I go back and forth between this and the Perrières. They have similar fruit profiles, but this has more flinty density while the Perrières is more citrically mineral. Lovely wine.
May 14, 2020 - We're loving these Prudhon St. Aubins. Mineral and lemon laced acidity clears the yellow fruits and flint off the palate. There is a real sense of density here without being heavy.
November 22, 2017 - Tasting at Domaine Henri Prudhon with Vincent Prudhon: PnP bottle. Forward nose that has some smoke with loads of orchard fruit. This has more density and concentration, yet still features the driving acidic energy. Excellent taut, mouth-watering length. 91-92 point potential.
