Community Tasting Notes 6

May 31, 2011 - Beyond its years. Significant bricking around the edges, but still looked fine. All depth was gone from the wine, shrill, vegetal. I thought it might even be corked, but it seems to just be age. Borderlien undrinkable.

June 6, 2009 - Again, with consistent notes.

November 6, 2008 - This wine does not seem to be getting any better with age.

November 12, 2007 - Again, with consistent notes. Best to let this open up overnight before drinking.

August 5, 2007 - Brownish red. Tire rubber, ground pepper and alcohol on the nose. Medium bodied, very fine tannins, and some noticeable acidity (drink with food). There is burnt raisin characteristic in this wine that I find undesireable. Drinking well now, but I would wait a little longer to see if this wine comes together better.
