September 28, 2020 - Flower Day - For those few of you that still have this in their cellar - my last bottle and it’s absolutely in its prime - I envy you. I can’t believe the freshness and fruit that’s showing today. Fully mature but not showing any decrepitude, the fresh red fruit showed on decanting (a small touch of sediment) and stays in the glass. Vanilla and a tiny bit of garrigue (yes from Chile - mostly mint) complete the nose. On the palate it fully envelopes the mouth with ripe tannins, red and black fruit and a nice touch of herbs. Soft, clean and yet has structure still. Handled a grilled flank steak with ease and composure.

November 12, 2007 - Oaky, high alcohol, ripped berries, the wine lacks personality, short finish, boring.

    March 2, 2007 - A little thin, unremarkable
