July 31, 2020 - Pale yellow in color with nice viscosity in the glass. The nose is one of pineapple, citrus, and a hint of jasmine. Full bodied and very velvety in the mouth. The initial contact is mineral, with some peach, pear and a hint of white tea. It entirely transforms on the long finish into creme caramel and butterscotch.

April 16, 2020 - Brilliant yellow- gold; nice legs. Fine honeysuckle fruit, not overripe or sweet. A touch of Juicy Fruit gum. Fairly broad and rich in the mouth, with mouth-coating tropical fruit flavors. Sexy. Has a nice long finish but just a tad bitter at the tail end. Good value, though. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

February 1, 2020 - Winebar [1 Rosé, 3 Whites, 8 Reds, & 8 *shared* bottles] from 1/31/20 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Supposedly 40% Grenache Blanc, 40% Roussanne, & 20% Clairette, 30% of which was barrel fermented & oak aged (with a significant % of that being new oak); 400 cases produced.

N: Slightly closed; Minerals with lemons

P: Med, poss MF, body; Very RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) counterbalanced by an acidity which sets the tone into & through the LONG, balanced, very, VERY slightly bitterish finish that MIGHT not be an issue with food. Nonetheless, for now & into '21 lest the bitterness increase. 14.2% ABV; My VG+. 93 pts Suckling, 92 ea WS & WE (Iijima, 11/1/19) @ $40, 91 Dunnuck, 90 WA, and 15/20 Jancis Robinson (Hemming, 10/11/17). [This vendor's $33.95 is $1 < wine-searcher's lowest entry.]

August 25, 2019 - Mineral and honeysuckle! Nose was fantastic! This wine was too oaky! Hope it needs more time!

June 26, 2019 - It was perfect with the Poullet a Vin Jeune and Morilles, great acidity and long finish!
