February 2, 2021 - W musaka. Very good combo. Helen liked it in particular. Clearly a few yrs laying down is helpful here. Good fruit good structure and nice length. The rounder palate is more preferred than the austere stoney pinots.

December 12, 2018 - Color is dark ruby to nearly black(not typically what I seek in this varietal) nose is quiet with burnt rubber, tar and sweet leather. Initial mouthfeel is smooth and weighted properly with notes of eucalyptus, pepper, black cherry and tar.
Finish is muted with slight lingering notes of blackberry and seeds from same.
I would not buy this again at any price. The ultimate test of a good drink, I want another sip. Not here.
