March 7, 2024 - More modern style Gigondas, but drinking well. Could age 5 more years.

February 7, 2021 - Similar to previous bottles, tannic, terroir, good fruit, complex with interesting nuances, drank with wings, nachos, ribs and guacamole, lots of character, probably no more to be had.

June 29, 2019 - Similar to last bottle, not much bouquet, spicy, good acid with smooth tannins, good fruit, balanced, drank easily with pork fajitas, light to medium bodied, complex flavors, good value, will drink again.

January 6, 2019 - This wine is...intriguing. opened for an hour, the nose seems closed, but there is a fair amount of berry and ripe fruit. On the palate, there is a ton of primary fruit. Structural framework, however, seems lacking at this point. It seems more like a new world fruit bomb than a southern Rhone. Maybe it needs time for the fruit and tannin to balance out. This might develop into an A+ wine with bottle age, but its strangely hard to tell since the fruit is overpowering the tannins. I picked up 4 of these at Costco for $19 each.
