February 4, 2024 - Certainly in it's window, enjoyable. Surprisingly threw off a moderate sediment. Came into balance after one hour decant somewhat light to medium bodied with medium acidity showing dried fruit with some peppery overtones. Not that experienced with Ventoux, wine reminded me very much of Vacqueras but a bit leaner and softer.

January 13, 2024 - Last bottle consumed. No change to last tasting note. This is drinking well now and should continue to do so the next year or two. I will buy this again if it should come on sale for 13 € a bottle... Very good value for money...

July 14, 2023 - Still drinking well. Clearly entering plateau of maturity, and although not oozing with tertiary aromas & flavors, it is not drying out. Still plenty of dark berries, dried herbs, black olives & meat. Full bodied but despite 15 % alc it is well integrated and not burning. Refreshing acidity, well integrated tannins and good structure that gives a "Northern Rhone" touch.
After having reassessed this wine I have bought 2 boxes at aprox 13 €/bottle at an offer... -
