January 1, 2010 - Great example of French quality at a reasonable price ($14), intense tannin and earth on the front with a spicy finish and delightfully dry mouthfeel. Smells like blackberry jam in a musty cellar.

January 31, 2008 - A little too much heat for my liking - not a sip and drink wine, needs a meal to balance the acidity.

January 15, 2008 - Decent bottle, quite dry. Went well with the sharp cheese and Italian dry aged salami
